Alliant Energy Beats on Earnings

Alliant Energy Corporation (LNT) reported fourth-quarter 2013 operating earnings of 55 cents per share, 5.8% above the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 52 cents. Earnings were however 11.3% lower than the year-ago figure.
